Large medieval copper alloy seal matrix which has been damaged, probably deliberately to deface it, The seal is circular with a flat back and an irregular hole through the centre. This hole appears to have removed the deepest part of the central design possibly by slicing or breaking the handle off the back, taking the centre with it. The back is now smooth with areas or rougher brighter green corrosion. A silver pin with a gilded zoomorphic head, dating probably to the Early Medieval period. The pin has an ungilded shank of circular section, which tapers to a point. The end is slightly bent. The head of the pin takes the form of a gilded moulded animal head, snout downwards, with small, pointed ears at the back. The forehead is decorated with an incised chevron, point downwards. An enamelled copper alloy skeuomorphic plate brooch in the form of an axe. The brooch consists of a rectangular haft and an axehead with a small, squared loop with a circular aperture at the top. The axehead is trapezoidal in shape with an in-curved lower edge and an out-curved upper edge. The haft has a reserve of metal around the outer edges and is recessed, containing traces of red enamel.
