Fragment of medieval copper alloy mount from harness, with a rectangular strap loop, a broken perforation for a possible (missing) upright stem, and with a pierced lobed terminal at the surviving end. Cf. an example with bifurcated terminal, N. Griffiths FRG Datasheet 5 (1986) fig.24. Loop 13.5 x 6.5mm internally. Extant length 43mm. Height 10mm. Late 13th -14th century.
