A complete, globular ceramic bead of uncertain date, Roman to Post Medieval, about AD 43 - 1900. The bead is sub-spherical with a possibly drilled circular central hole which has a diameter of 2.7mm. The surface is smooth and is a pale terracotta colour. The ends are slightly flatter than the rest of the bead. It is 9.6mm tall, 11.4mm diameter and 1.2g. The globular shape of this bead does not help with dating as the shape was used from Roman periods onwards. For other similar examples see SWYOR-1C9795 and GLO-86DA3B.

A copper alloy pin from an annular or penannular brooch, or maybe a buckle, of possible Roman date (AD 43 - 410), though it could also be Medieval. The pin is D shaped in cross-section and is of humped form. One end becomes thinner and extends into a loop to wrap around the frame, but this is incomplete. The tip tapers to a blunt point. The pin has a green patina and is corroded. It is 47.8mm long, 4.4mm wide and 3.3mm thick. 2.72g. Compare Roman penannular brooches such as YORYM-B2DB5E and SOM-21B012 which both have humped pins, but also YORYM-766AA7 which is probably Medieval.
