A cast lead spindle whorl of uncertain date, probably from the early medieval period. The whorl is circular in plan with a plano-convex profile, and is white in colour. It is 27.3mm in diameter with a maximum thickness of 5.0mm, and a conical central aperture of 6.5mm diameter (convex face) to 9.5mm (flat face), and it weighs 17.9g. There is recent damage to the flat face, where it was hit by a spade during extraction...... The whorl conforms to Walton Rogers form A dating to 800-1000

Pottery. Reduced abundantly shell tempered fabric with oxidised margins; three Maxey Ware potsherds. One everted rim sherd, one less markedly everted rim with a curved top, and a basal angle sherd. These sherds were kindly identified by Wallace Collyer of the North Lincolnshire Pottery Research Group. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 750-850. Combined Weight: 72.93

An incomplete copper-alloy possibly Early Medieval stirrup mount, dating to AD 1000-1100. It is sub-triangular in plan with all the edges heavily damaged and worn. The mount is L-shaped in profile and it has an iron rivet passing through the right-angled flange. The front face is stained by iron corrosion products and it is not possible to detect eventual decoratif motifis. The back face is plain and heavily pitted. A copper-alloy Early Medieval key, dating to AD 750-1100. It consists of an oval shaft which flattens in a handle that is slightly wider than the shaft. The handle ends in a circular loop for suspension, which is set at right angle to it. The other end of the shaft is hollow (2.00 mm into the shaft) and it has a oval cross-sectioned bit extending at right angle to the underside of the shaft. One side of the bit has two transverse shallow grooves. Length: 64.37 mm, width: 3.87 mm, thickness: 4.46 mm, weight: 6.17 g

An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy small-long brooch (c. 450-c. 550). The pin and the leg are missing. The head plate is rectangular in plan and is flat at the front. It measures 15.0mm in width and 12.1mm in height. The arched bow is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. At the top of the bow at each side there is a small chamfer. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) sleeve clasp dating c. 450-550 AD. This clasp probably corresponds best to Hines' form B12, consisting a solid rectangular bar from the back of which protrude three sewing lugs. Each of these is triangular in plan, with the two examples on the outer edges of the bar demonstrating small circular apertures at their midpoints.
