Obverse: DN HONORI[...], Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: VIRTVS RO-MANORVM, Roma seated left on cuirass, holding victory and spear
Mint of Milan. As Hoxne no. 721; RIC X, no. 1228.

A complete silver penny of Edward I 1272 - 1307 AD. Class 3g, which dates this coin to 1280 - 1281 AD. Obverse: A trifoliate crown with outwardly curved side fleurs. Bust facing forward. The drapery consists of two wedges. There are contractive marks of crescents after the R and L. The S is non-composite (thick-waisted). The A's are most likely barred, but due to the wear it is hard to verify. Reverse: A long cross with three pellets in each quarter. London mint. Spink 1393, North 1022.
