Broad period: POST MEDIEVAL
County: North Yorkshire
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
Small uniface lead token of post-medieval date (c. 1500 - 1700 AD). The object is a round disc with a design on one side. Unfortunately, the surface is very worn and much of the design is now obscured. What can be seen looks to be a Tudor shield in the bottom right corner of a larger design, perhaps a coat of arms. The object is light brown in colour. It is 11.62mm in diameter, 1.34mm in thickness and weighs 0.8g.
