An incomplete copper alloy purse bar that consists of the suspension loop and central section of the frame. The block hub is shield shaped with a rounded base and square top, this has a hole that passed through the middle that mounts the spindle for the suspension loop. The loop has a small cylindrical neck and a large circular loop at the top , on the base of the loop and passing through the hub is a narrowed bar that has a flat circular knop at the base. Both sides of the hub appear to be undecorated. Thin circular rod project to either sides of the hub but both are at their base. Date 1400-1600
