An incomplete copper alloy purse bar that consists of the suspension loop and central section of the frame. The block hub is rectangular shaped with a hole that passed through the middle that mounts the spindle for the suspension loop. The loop has a small cylindrical neck and a large oval loop at the top, on the base of the loop and passing through the hub is a narrowed bar that has a hemispherical knop at the base. Both sides of the hub appear to be undecorated. Thin circular rod project to either sides of the hub but both are at their base. Date 1400-1600

Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle frame dating to AC 1550 to 1650. The buckle has two oval loops with moulded rosette decoration on the outer edge of each loop and lobed knops at either end of the central strap bar. The pin is missing. The front is convex and the back is flat and undecorated. The buckle is deformed in such a way that one loop curves in a convex profile. It surface has a green patina with traces of iron corrosion on the upper surface of the right rosette. The frame measures 42.3 mm in length, 30.8 mm in width, 2.6 mm in thickness and weighs 6.41 g. …

Medieval or Post Medieval copper alloy foot from a cooking vessel probably dating to AD 1200 to 1650. The foot is trapezoidal in section and with three narrow ribs on the outer surface. The piece measures 60.7 mm in length, 35.2 mmin width, 26.7 mm in thickness and weighs 147.03 g. Cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from AD 1200 to 1700. Legs and feet are the most commonly recorded find and Butler et alii (2009, 4) suggest there were four main types of leg used. The front is convex and the back is flat. The buckle is deformed in such a way that each loop curves giving a concave profile. The surface is covered by a brown-green patina. No decoration. A very worn and incomplete cast copper alloy (bronze) flat axe of Early Bronze Age date (c. 2200 - 2000 BC). The flat axe is broadly sub triangular in plan with a splayed crescent shaped blade. In profile it is broadly lentoid, with slightly tapering edges. In cross section the axe is rectangular. One long edge is curved and the opposite is relatively flat. The tips of the crescent shaped blade have been damaged through either abrasion or wear, as has the blade edge itself. A distinct blade facet is not present; it has been lost through abrasion. Inside this are the letters EB or JB (with the J carved as an I with three horizontal bars), also with two 6-armed stars one each above and below the intials. A pair of copper-alloy tweezers of probable early medieval or medieval date, and which were probably used to hold pages of a book. The tweezers comprise two slender arms, arced at the top, and with slightly flared and inturned nibs at the terminals. The loop end has a very slight shoulder making it 1mm wider than the arms at that end.
