An incomplete copper-alloy medieval buckle that conforms well to a Meols type 10 c.AD 1350 - 1400. The pin is missing, leaving just the frame. The buckle is a single looped, oval with a narrowed and offset bar and ornate outer edges. Two prominent knops flank two grooves on the outer edge of the loop which act as rests for the pin.
The buckle weighs 4.15g; is 20.27mm deep and 26.09mm wide.

Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle frame dating to AC 1550 to 1650. The buckle has two oval loops with moulded rosette decoration on the outer edge of each loop and lobed knops at either end of the central strap bar. The pin is missing. The front is convex and the back is flat and undecorated. The buckle is deformed in such a way that one loop curves in a convex profile. It surface has a green patina with traces of iron corrosion on the upper surface of the right rosette.
The frame measures 42.3 mm in length, 30.8 mm in width, 2.6 mm in thickness and weighs 6.41 g.

Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle frame dating to AD 1350 to 1650. The buckle has two oval loops divided by a narrowed and recessed axis bar. The bar has slight knops at each end. The front is convex and the back is flat. The buckle is deformed in such a way that each loop curves giving a concave profile. The surface is covered by a brown-green patina. No decoration.
The frame measures 37.3 mm in length, 25.8 mm in width, 2.5 mm in thickness and weighs 4.03 g.

A near complete cast copper alloy Roman Trumpet brooch dating from AD 75 - 175. The bow of the brooch has an angular profile and an angular D shaped cross section. The bow tapers from a flared head to a tapered foot knop. The head of the brooch is complete, it is very robust being oval in plan, and tapers into the bow. An incomplete Early Medieval Anglo Saxon copper alloy cruciform brooch dating from the 6th century. This is a 'florid style' brooch Martin type 4.
The brooch has an integral cast top-knob in the form of an inverted human-like face mask; with with staring eyes. The mask is flanked on either side by a pair of birds facing down and inwards. An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill type brooch of Roman date (80-120 AD). The wings are near complete with flat and pierced end cap. The axis bar, spring and pin are lost. The spring was probably formed of copper alloy wire which was held in place by an external cord which is fixed to a rearward facing hook positioned at the midpoint on the upper edge of the reverse. A Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative initial T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 50-100. The brooch survives largely complete, missing only its pin and with the catchplate incomplete due to abrasion.
At the head of the brooch the wings survive to a width of 24.6mm, these are cylindrical; retaining a copper alloy axis bar in situ, and with a sub-rectangular slot cut into the reverse to accomodate a hinged pin. A late post-medieval copper-alloy hinged book clasp.
One part of the hinge is flat, measuring 30mm long, 17mm wide and 1mm thick. At the non-hinged end there is a central hole 3mm in diameter. The long sides have an undulating curved pattern. The reverse has no decoration, whereas the front has some lettering scratched in it, probably a monogram consisting of the letters WN in an 18th- or 19th-century curving script.

An incomplete copper-alloy book clasp of Howsam type A.1.1, and of medieval date (c. 1350-1450). The object is part of a two-piece book clasp with hinged plate and loop. The plate has been lost, though the hinge loop remains.
The main plate is sub-D-shaped with moulded linear decoration stamped with irregularly spaced annulets to the upper surface. A central circular perforation is also present. Cast copper alloy crotal or rumbler bell of probable late medieval or post medieval date (1400-1800). The bell is sub-circular in plan and profile with an integral cast sub-rectangular suspension loop attached to the top. An incomplete Medieval iron barbed and socketed arrowhead, dating 13th-14th century. The arrow head has a triangular blade and a circular socket. The blade section tapers very gradually from the socket to the point, with barbs at the socket end which extend over the socketed section. The central spine is subtle and not well pronounced. One of the barbs is damaged and missing a small section from the blade edge.
