A Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative initial T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 50-100. The brooch survives largely complete, missing only its pin and with the catchplate incomplete due to abrasion. At the head of the brooch the wings survive to a width of 24.6mm, these are cylindrical; retaining a copper alloy axis bar in situ, and with a sub-rectangular slot cut into the reverse to accomodate a hinged pin. Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle frame dating to AD 1350 to 1650. The buckle has two oval loops divided by a narrowed and recessed axis bar. The bar has slight knops at each end. The front is convex and the back is flat. The buckle is deformed in such a way that each loop curves giving a concave profile. The surface is covered by a brown-green patina. No decoration. The frame measures 37.3 mm in length, 25.8 mm in width, 2.5 mm in thickness and weighs 4.03 g. This style of buckle is quite common and numerous examples are documentedon this database. An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill type brooch of Roman date (80-120 AD). The wings are near complete with flat and pierced end cap. The axis bar, spring and pin are lost. A Medieval cast lead alloy openwork monogram of Maria pilgrim badge dating to the 14th-15th century. The badge is in the shape of a Lombardic M with crown above. The block hub is rectangular shaped with a hole that passed through the middle that mounts the spindle for the suspension loop. The loop has a small cylindrical neck and a large oval loop at the top, on the base of the loop and passing through the hub is a narrowed bar that has a hemispherical knop at the base. Small uniface lead token of post-medieval date (c. 1500 - 1700 AD). The object is a round disc with a design on one side. Unfortunately, the surface is very worn and much of the design is now obscured. What can be seen looks to be a Tudor shield in the bottom right corner of a larger design, perhaps a coat of arms. The object is light brown in colour. It is 11.62mm in diameter, 1.34mm in thickness and weighs 0.8g. A parallel example on the database may be KENT-2A8BBD.

A very worn and incomplete cast copper alloy (bronze) flat axe of Early Bronze Age date (c. 2200 - 2000 BC). The flat axe is broadly sub triangular in plan with a splayed crescent shaped blade. In profile it is broadly lentoid, with slightly tapering edges. In cross section the axe is rectangular. One long edge is curved and the opposite is relatively flat.
