Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type. It has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that hold the pin axis bar, the spring is truncated but three curls remain, the pin is missing. The is a loop at the top od the head for the external cord of the spring, this extends down the form of the head to form a small central crest. The front of the bow is decorated with a long rectangular cell that has a line of raised diamonds running down the centre, the recesses are filled with enamel. Copper alloy headstud brooch. The brooch has short cylindrical wings that holds the pin axes bar, the pin is missing. The front of the wings curves up to the side of the bow and are decorated with four cells that contain a mix of red and blue enamel. At the top of the bow is a short crest and a large hollow below. The remainder of the bow is undecorated. At the base of the bow is a circular foot. The catch plate on the reverse is closed. AD 75-200.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch of the Headstud type, dating to AD 75-200. The head is sub-cylindrical and it houses still the iron bar. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester polden hill brooch, probably dating to c. AD 80-120. The brooxch is missing its right wing, pin mechanism and the terminal of its foot. The head of the brooch survives to a width of 18.9mm, but with the right wing lost to an old break. The wings are semi-cylindrical, with an open reverse and with the surviving wing terminating in an incomplete perforated wing cap. A Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative intial T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 50-100. The surviving portion comprises of the head and upper bow. At the head of the brooch the wings survive to a width of 29.7mm, these are cylindrical; retaining a copper alloy axis bar in situ, and with a sub-recatngular slot cut into the reverse to accomodate a hinged pin, the perforated lug of which survives. An incomplete copper-alloy cruciform brooch of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 450 - 600. All that remains of the brooch is a zoomorphic terminal, possibly in the form of a horse's head. The fragment is narrow, comprising a spatulate terminal from which the D-sectioned bow extends, terminating in a worn break. The spatulate terminal bears moulded double banded chevron decoration extending from a central ridge. The ridge terminates in a double grooved chevron where the terminal "snout" becomes the shaft of the brooch. Midway along the shaft, two bulbous eyes project, one to either side…

A complete copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, c. AD 75 - 175. The head is ovate with a heavily corroded spring mechanism to the reverse. The corrosion obscures most of the detail of the spring but an axis bar remains fitted through it, its ends continuing to form a loop, held by a separate rectangular collar. A circular sectioned pin projects from the spring, tapering to a worn point.
