Fragment of medieval lead bulla of Sixtus IV, pope 1471-1484.The bulla represents just under half of the original circular flan. On the obverse, the letters are in three lines; the first ends VS, the second A, and the third possibly I.
On the reverse, the face of St.Paul is visible; St Peter on the right is missing. They would have been looking towards each other, surrounded by a beaded border, thought to have represented a halo, and divided by a cross. A worn and abraded copper-alloy radiate in the name Gallienus dating to the period AD 260 to 268 (Reece period 13). DIANAE CONS AVG reverse type depicting Antelope left. Possibly a contemporary copy of Gallienus' sole reign, imitating a coin of the Mint of Rome, mintmark '-//XII'. As Cunetio p. 121, no. 1408. RIC V-1, Rome 181.

A heavily worn and incomplete gilt copper-alloy heraldic horse harness pendant of Medieval (AD 1300-1400).
Description: The pendant is quatrelobed with angular projections between each lobe. The design taking up much of the central area appears may be a highly worn heraldic shield of arms. The heraldry design or 'blazon' is uncertain, with three elements in chief, possibly flowers, with a cover element towards the bottom of the shield, possibly ermine. A fragment of a Late Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axe head, probably dating to 1100-800 BC.
Description: The fragment survives only as the cutting edge and part of the long rectangular socketed body. The cutting edge survives intact, albeit heavily worn and runs in a very shallow convex curve, the blade tips flare slightly outwards. The surviving cross section of the socket is sub-oval. The remaing body appears to be undecorrated although with such little remaining it is not possible to be sure althoguh part of a casting seam. The axhead is patinated a mid green and the breaks …

A fragment of the lower part of a copper alloy socketed looped axe dating from the Late Bronze Age, i.e. c. 1000-800BC. Possibly of plain South Eastern Type.
Description:
The fragment survives only as the blade end. The sides curve inwards from the curved crescent blade-edge, flaring in section to a rectangle. The break across the body is irregular. The surface of the axe is heavily mottled dark to light green to dark brown in patina and is heavily pitted by corrosion across its entirety. It looks like it was not faceted or had a ribbed decoration.

A near complete but worn and abraded flat lead non-heraldic personal seal matrix of Medieval date c.AD 1200-1350.
Description: The matrix is flat and circular in plan and with an incomplete suspension loop at the top of the reverse side formed by a cast lug at the top of a raised ridge.
