Copper alloy tweezers. Cast tweezers with thin arms with textured upper ends, of thickness 1.3mm, and flattened towards the ends of the arms [here of thickness 1mm], which are rounded. The handle is bent tightly to form a top loop, and retains tensile strength. The lower thinner arms are now bent and curled together. Suggested date: Unknown, Roman to Medieval, 43-1500. Length (as found): 36.3mm, Width (at ends of arms): 4.9mm, Weight: 1.66gms

A single flint probable waste flake (debitage) of uncertain possible prehistoric date. Description: The flake is irregularly shaped but with two long edges and two short edges. It has extensive conchoidal rippling and pronounced bulb of percussion indicating production via hard hammer technology. This flake is likely from the production of a blade or similar object. Measurements: 24.25mm long, 15.41mm wide, 5.98mm thick and 2.34g in weight.

An amorphic piece of copper alloy Slag of Unknown date (1150 BC-AD 1750). The surface is characterised by lumps and hollows. The slag has a deep green and brown colour with a pitted patina. The back of the object is flatted while the front is convex. Scientific analysis of the elemental composition of the copper alloy would allow a more accurate date to be suggested. Length: 39.86mm, Width: 34.54mm, Thickness: 5.69mm, Weight: 13.9g.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy brooch, probably of Headstud type dating to the period c. AD 75 - 200. The head, pin and upper bow are missing. The bow commences in an old break and tapers along its length. It exhibits a series of opposed triangular cells filled with degraded enamel, small chunks of which are now black in colour. The junction between the foot and the lower bow is marked by a moulded double collar above a stepped D-sectioned foot. The catchplate projects from the reverse of the bow, terminating in an old break.
