A chert piercer or borer of the later Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age, 72 mm in length, 31.5 mm in width tapering to 5.5 mm at the distal end, 10.5 mm thick and 6 g in weight. The implement is made on a crude secondary flake from a beach pebble. It is sub-triangular in plan, and triangular in section and in profile. The flake has been struck at the cortex of the pebble, a small patch of which remains at the proximal end. The scars of removal of two earlier flakes are visible on the dorsal face. TREASURE CASE : 2018 T478. The coin is a Roman silver siliqua of Arcadius, mint of Milan, AD 393-4. It is unusually thin and slightly dished, possibly due to a combination of wear and surface cleaning, as the metal is bright even though the coin is pitted and corroded. A probable medieval lead pilgrim badge. The object is flat, openwork, and is currently in the form of approxuimately half of an oval. The object has a complete arched top, and is broken across the waist. The badge comprises a ladder-shaped oval in the centre within which is a cross with curved arms. Surrounding the oval are two concentric circles comprised of pellets, joined by several transverse strands of lead. The perimeter of the badge is formed by pellets. The reverse is undecorated and smooth.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman bracelet, possibly refashioned into a finger ring. The band of the ring is D-shaped in section and there is no visible decoration. A number of cut-down bracelets fashioned into finger rings have been recorded, see especially SF-AA9789, IOW-9FAF4E and WILT-026081. There is a noticeable concentration of these re-used objects on Roman religious sites. Although there is no obvious decoration thin cuffed bracelets date to the later Roman period. A Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy hinged strip bow brooch, probably dating to AD 25-70. The brooch survives largely complete, missing only its axis bar and pin. The head of the brooch survives to a width of 10.3mm, it consists of a rectangular sheet of copper alloy with a central slot to accomodate a hinged pin, this is rolled around underneath itself to form a cylindrical casing for an axis bar, now lost.
