A complete pair of copper alloy tweezers of either late early medieval (11th century) or post-medieval date. The tweezers have two arms which are flat in profile and taper from the bent, pinchinh terminals towards tne loop. The loop is decorative, in prfile being reminsicent of late Roman dolphin buckles with one or possibly two open mouthed creatures. A possible indentation as en eye can be seen on one side but the handle area is very worn.

Copper alloy unidentified object. A rectangular strip of thickness 0.7mm which has its square-cut ends folded neatly behind it, one overlapping the other. The sheet is plain here, but on the other side it exhibits a slightly concavo-convex swelling and has finely incised linear borders, suggesting this to be a display face. Suggested date: Unknown, Roman to Medieval, 43-1500. Length: 33.5mm, Width: 10mm, Thickness (overall as found): 3mm, Weight: 3.09gms
