A copper-alloy jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II, Master Jetton maker, AD1586-1635. Obverse shows three crowns alternatively with three lis, arranged centrifugally around a central rose of heart-shaped petals. Obverse legend reads HANN[S.KRAVW]INCKEL.IN.NVRENBE. Reverse shows an imperial orb surmounted by a cross patty, within a tressure of three main arches, no ornaments around the tressure. Reverse legend reads GETR[I]VW.HANDT.KOMBT.[DUR]CH.ALLE. This translates to 'truth succeeds over all.'

A fragment from a hone or whetstone of undetermined date, probably Medieval or later but an earlier date should not be ruled out. The stone is rectangular in plan, profile and has a D shaped cross section. The whetstone is formed from a mid grey, coarse grained grit/sandstone - an area of distinct reddening is present in one place - this is likely to be due to burning or heatening in a fire. A cast copper alloy fragment from a larger unidentified object of probable later Early Medieval date (AD 800-1200). The fragment is an irregular triangular shape in plan and slightly curved in profile - originally it would have been rectangular and the extant fragment represents a single corner. The fragment is pierced on one of its broken edges by a circular hole - which possibly may have held a rivet. Roman copper allot toilet article, possibly an ear scoop, dating to the period c. AD 43 - 409. It consists of a cylidrical shaft which tapers into a pointed terminal at one end and exhibits a flattened circular terminal at the other. The shaft is bent in four places, but appears to be intact.

Late Saxon fine-grained stone spindle-whorl, pale grey with ferrous staining, globular with flattened poles, probably lathe-turned. A small flake was lost in antiquity from the side. Cf. examples from Thetford (Dallas 1993, 121, fig. 132, nos. 4 and 5). Diameter 30.7mm, thickness or height 21.8mm, hole diameter 11mm decreasing slightly to the centre, weight 25.5g, mid 9th - 11th century.

Incomplete Late Iron Age - Roman nail cleaner dating to the period c.20 BC - AD 50. It commences in a relatively fresh break and is missing the suspension loop. The blade has convex sides which taper into a rectangular projection, terminating in two triangular points. Both faces are decorated by an engraved line border running down each long edge.

A circular lead pan weight of late Medieval to Post-Medieval date.
Description: The pan weight is circular in plan with a raised in relief cross on its upper face formed from four uneven triangles, cast in relief arranged around a central raised pellet. Each triangle has a pellet within. It has slightly tapering sides which leaves the base slightly wider than the top.
