Late Saxon fine-grained stone spindle-whorl, pale grey with ferrous staining, globular with flattened poles, probably lathe-turned. A small flake was lost in antiquity from the side. Diameter 30.7mm, thickness or height 21.8mm, hole diameter 11mm decreasing slightly to the centre, weight 25.5g, mid 9th - 11th century.

An incomplete copper-alloy flanged Ulrome type axehead of middle Bronze Age date, c.AD 1600 - 1300 BC. Acton Park II / Taunton phase.
The axehead is sub-rectangular in plan with a rounded butt end which extends to a curved cutting edge with splayed crescentic blade.
Two integral lateral lozenge shaped flanges are present along either side, rising steadily from the butt, rounding off at the apex midway along the body, before sloping steadily back down to the blade.

Description: The pan weight is circular in plan with a raised in relief cross on its upper face formed from four uneven triangles, cast in relief arranged around a central raised pellet. A fragment of Roman silver finger-ring of keeled form, probably dating to AD c.100-410. It consists of an incomplete, probably squarish, bezel, one flat triangular shoulder and c. one third of the D-sectioned hoop.
The bezel is 1.0mm thick and has no discernible decoration. It is 9.4mm wide where the shoulder extends. The shoulder narrows to 5.3mm just before the hoop begins and is 1.5mm thick. It is decorated with a central pair of longitudinal grooves. The hoop measures 2.6x2.3mm at the break and is flat to the inside surface. Both the break across the hoop and the bezel are old.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy stud dating to the period c. AD 100 - 350. Flat, discoidal head with a deep central recess containing traces of degraded enamel, now an off-white. This is surrounded by a shallower recess which is in turn surrounded by a concentric metal reserve and a second, wider concentric recess. Both recess contain traces of heavily degraded enamel of uncertain original colour. The edge of the plate is bordered by a reserve. An integrally cast cylindrical shank projects from the back of the stud and terminates in a worn break.

Description: The brooch is flat and circular with heavily abraded edges. On the front there is a large incised ring-and-dot motif at the centre, made up of three concentric circles with a central indentation. A complete lead-alloy papal bulla of Pope Alexander IV dating to the medieval period. Pope Alexander IV reigned from 12 December 1254 to his death in 1261.
The obverse of the bulla is stamped with the faces of saints Peter and Paul within a border of raised pellets.
