A fragment of Roman silver finger-ring of keeled form, probably dating to AD c.100-410. It consists of an incomplete, probably squarish, bezel, one flat triangular shoulder and c. one third of the D-sectioned hoop. The bezel is 1.0mm thick and has no discernible decoration. It is 9.4mm wide where the shoulder extends. The shoulder narrows to 5.3mm just before the hoop begins and is 1.5mm thick. It is decorated with a central pair of longitudinal grooves. The hoop measures 2.6x2.3mm at the break and is flat to the inside surface. Both the break across the hoop and the bezel are old. …

Incomplete Roman copper alloy stud dating to the period c. AD 100 - 350. Flat, discoidal head with a deep central recess containing traces of degraded enamel, now an off-white. This is surrounded by a shallower recess which is in turn surrounded by a concentric metal reserve and a second, wider concentric recess. Both recess contain traces of heavily degraded enamel of uncertain original colour. The edge of the plate is bordered by a reserve. An integrally cast cylindrical shank projects from the back of the stud and terminates in a worn break. See: Crummy 1995, p. 118, no, 3218.

An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy disc brooch (c. 450-550 AD). Description: The brooch is flat and circular with heavily abraded edges. On the front there is a large incised ring-and-dot motif at the centre, made up of three concentric circles with a central indentation. The rear face has a standard single pin lug and catchplate arrangment. Both the pin lug and the catchplate are heavily worn and incomplete, with the lug having broken across the piercing. A complete lead-alloy papal bulla of Pope Alexander IV dating to the medieval period. Pope Alexander IV reigned from 12 December 1254 to his death in 1261. The obverse of the bulla is stamped with the faces of saints Peter and Paul within a border of raised pellets. Above the heads within the border, the saints' abbreviations are visible with 'SPA' for St. Paul to the left and 'SPE' for St. Peter to the right. Fragment of medieval strap-end, bent tongue-shaped front plate with scalloped attachment edge with round grooved aperture between two rivet-holes (broken across one), widthways bend onto reverse, narrowed concave-sided terminal missing. Face decorated with rocker-arm lines forming a transverse line and wavy line above an I-shape with serifs reserved on a field of engraved rocker-arm.
