A copper-alloy jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II, Master Jetton maker, AD1586-1635. Obverse shows three crowns alternatively with three lis, arranged centrifugally around a central rose of heart-shaped petals. Obverse legend reads HANN[S.KRAVW]INCKEL.IN.NVRENBE. Reverse shows an imperial orb surmounted by a cross patty, within a tressure of three main arches, no ornaments around the tressure. Reverse legend reads GETR[I]VW.HANDT.KOMBT.[DUR]CH.ALLE. This translates to 'truth succeeds over all.'
