An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Colchester-derivative brooch of double-pierced lug type, dating 43-100 AD. Description: The humped bow has a raised ridge running along its' centre and an undecorated flat underside. The brooch foot and catch plate is missing entirely, this part of the brooch having broken off in antiquity as the break is patinated and worn. The wings are shallow crescents in cross section and holds the intact spring for the now mostly missing pin which remains only as a stub. A complete copper-alloy button of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1800. Description: The button is discoidal with a flat section. The front surface is decorated with an incised cross decorating the upper surface in each quadrant has a hatched triangle in it. The edge is formed from cut frilled decoration. A circular shank projects centrally from the reverse which is folded over to form a suspension loop. The button is patinated varied shades of green. Measurements: 31.25mm in diameter, 9.79mm thick including the shank (1.9mm thick) and 7.84g in weight.

A Post-Medieval worn and incomplete copper-alloy Nuremburg jetton. The obverse is completely worn and illegible. The reverse is very worn, the legend being completely illegible and only part of the reverse design remaining visible. This coin has been covered in Renaissance Wax prior to recording and this has resulted in a darker colour to the coin and less detail being visible in the images than when viewed in person.

As RIC II, p. 412, no. 577B. This is a coin of British Association, struck in Rome for issue in Britain - 39 specimens were found in the Sacred Spring in Bath (As Walker, 1988: p. 291, nos. 1-39, pl. A Post-Medieval gold iinscribed finger-ring, of 'Posy' type.. Description: The ring is formed from a thin hoop, with a convex outer face. The innermost face is engraved with a saying, motto or message in lower case does read 'God above increase our love'. A bifacial lead token of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. The token weighs 7.24g, has a diameter of 22.4mm and thickness of 2.8mm. Both sides of the flan have a beaded border of pellets encircling two capital letters. The pellets have a diameter of c.2.1mm. One side of the flan probably has a letter A and reversed letter G. A partially worn Post-Medieval copper-alloy jetton of issued at Nuremberg by Hanns Schultes III, 1608-1612. Rose and orb type, '+GLICK KVMPT VON GOT IST WAR', (translated as: Truly, Happiness comes from God.) quatrefoil stops and initial marks. As Mitchiner (1988) no. 1405, but different stops as seen on HAMP-A5CBA8, SUR-3C85A4 and CORN-A4D618. One side of the jetton is heavily worn while the other remains clear. Measurements: 22.08mm in diameter, 0.52mm thick and 0.82g in weight.

A sherd from a cordoned Roman vessel. The cord decoration is prominent and there are two incised lines above and below the cord. The vessel is oxidised orange on the outer surfaces with a reduced grey core. The fabric is fine grained with sparce inclusions of quartz less than 0.5mm in diameter, crushed shell and charcoal approximately 0.5mm - 1mm in diameter. This is a beach find and many inclusions have been lost or dissolved as a result of the action of the sea. Length: 56.9 mm, width: 50.1mm and thickness: 23.2mm. Weight 74.5g.
