Middle to Late Saxon copper alloy prick spur, the very slight neck is circular-sectioned at the end and consists of three successively narrower steps. The narrow end of the neck has the corroded remains of a separate inserted iron goad. The sides are D-sectioned and the external curved face is decorated with slightly asymmetric bead-and-reel mouldings and two stylised animal-head terminals, split for the reception of the leather which was secured by a copper alloy rivet through a hole in the muzzle. Incomplete unusual medieval composite strap-end, tapering tongue-shaped, attachment-end missing, upper end of spacer broken across the sides of a rectangular cut-out or forks. The front plate is broken just before it steps in and is recessed on both sides with the revealed bordering face of the spacer decorated with engraved rocker-arm. The back plate is narrowed in the same way but there is no decoration. Extant length 42mm. Extant width 11mm. 3mm thick. 14th century.

Biface, of sub-triangular planform, all flake removals appear to be hard hammer struck and overlap at the median ridge and beyond. Of unpatinated mottled grey flint with a small iron spot to the ventral face near the centre. One lateral edge is steeper than the other, the steeper has an irregular cutting edge and is close to the ventral face when viewed from the side, the less obtuse edge is far more regular and is almost central, and can be considered the cutting edge. It is either a trial piece, reject, or indeed was hafted or used as is. Neolithic to Early Bronze Age, 4,000 to 1,501 BC.

Incomplete and abraded Late Saxon copper alloy tongue-shaped openwork strap end of Thomas 2004, Class E, Type 1. The upper edges of the split attachment end are missing. The sides are moulded into convex and concave curves (cf. ibid. fig. 4, no. 23). Four round apertures and a part of four others are extant, the terminal is missing. Extant length 41mm. Extant width 24mm. 10th century.
