A complete Medieval Continental sterling imitation of an Edwardian coin struck for Gaucher of Chatillion, Count of Porcien and Constable of France, dating to the period 1313-1322. Minted at Yves, near Florennes, in what is now Belgium. Obverse: +GALChSCOMESPORC; Crowned ruler facing. Reverse: MON/ETA/OVA/YVE; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant. Diameter: 18.0mm. Weight: 1.27g. DA=12:12.
