A complete Medieval Copper-alloy composite strap end. The object consists of two tapering Copper-alloy plates with a Copper-alloy spacer, fixed between them by a Copper alloy rivet at the narrowing end. This feature extends 17.42 mm from the terminal that tapers to a right angle finished with a central knop. The opposing end of the object is bifurcated, where a small piece of organic material, possibly leather is extant within the opening. A complete Post Medieval copper alloy double-looped sub-annular buckle frame, dating c. 1650-1720). Description: The frame is oval with a straight central recessed strap bar, creating two D-shaped loops. The frame is undecorated on both faces and the reverse is bevelled on the interior edge. There is iron corrosion products on the strap bar, indicating that this buckle once had an iron pin, which is now missing. The frame itself is quite warped and no longer flat. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval (c.1250-1400AD) D-shaped buckle with narrowed offset strap bar. Description: The buckle is small, with thin bars of which the strap bar is offset. At the opposite end of the frame the loop has a central groove flanked on each side by two smaller grooves and a protruding stub creating transverse ribbed decoration .
