An incomplete, cast, copper alloy trumpet brooch of Roman date (possibly c.AD 80-160).
Description: The mid bow of a trumpet brooch, with a rounded mid bow moulding which does not pass all the way round, and tapering in both directions beyond this. The fragment is a brown to black colour, and very worn.
Dimensions: Length 19.40mm, width 9.79mm, thickness 2.99mm and weight 1.67g.

Copper-alloy cast strap fitting, likely a sword belt hanger, dating to 15th century.
The item is fragmentary and shows the surviving left portion of the main plate. There is one surviving attachment loop and along the lower edge with a hook still in place through it. Originally there would have been three loops, spaced evenly, connected to the bottom edge, with a hook hanging from each.

Copper-alloy book clasp of Medieval date, perhaps c. 1350 - 1450 AD, and of Howsam type A.1.3.
The item is formed of a flat sub-circular plate with two loops and a bar at one end, encompassing the strap-fitting portion of the artefact. At the opposite side there is a collared zoomorphic terminal.
The central plate has a circular drilled hole in the centre, which would have held a rivet that fixed the clasp in place on the book cover. The zoomorphic terminal also features a drilled side-to side hole, so perpendicular to the plane of on which the central plate hole is found.
