The buckle fragment consists of a broadly oval loop with a transverse, scalloped decorative moulding of five semi-circular projections divided by four grooves. The narrowed and offset strap bar terminate in pointed knops. The buckle measures 19.80 mm in length, 27.56 mm in width and weighs 3.28 grams. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval forked spacer for a composite strap-end (AD c.1270-c.1450), missing the tip of one of its forks. It has a plain acorn knop terminal with a collar dividing the acorn element from the two prongs. The prongs are flat and rectangular in cross-section and unequal in length: the complete fork measures 23.09 mm from collar to tip whilst the incomplete prong measures 17.47 mm. Incomplete medieval to post medieval foot from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron, posnet or skillet dating to the period c. AD 1300 - 1700. The leg has a worn break at the top, the inner edge curved to form the base of the vessel. It is trapezoidal in cross-section with a slightly concave reverse and tapers into the moulded foot. It exhibits traces of sooting. The vessels to which these were attached were usually of a tripod form and were widely used from circa AD 1200-1700 for serving and cooking. Incomplete Roman copper alloy handle, probably from a key, comprising a broken oval bow, a circular-sectioned hollow shank which expands and then narrows slightly before a collared aperture (diam. 10mm) containing the corroded remains of a broken inserted iron shank.
