An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy and lead (possibly) unidentified object (c. 1750-c. 1900). The object is circular in plan and has a partial raised side. At the centre is a raised galloping horse facing left with an arched neck and tail raised upwards. The flat front is probably copper-alloy and the side appears to be lead alloy The front of the object is grey and black and the rear has off-white corrosion products. Copper alloy dress hook that has a circular shaped central plate with an openwork lattice centre, and beaded borer, possible decoration in the centre of the latticework but corrosion has removed all detail. At the top of the plate is a rectangular attachment loop, while on the opposite edge is a rearward facing hook (now distorted) at the base. Date 16th century.

A copper alloy strap fitting or slide dating to the Roman period (AD 50 - AD 200). The fitting comprises of two, conjoined teardrop shaped plates, each with a raised circular boss within a circumferential recess. The pointed terminals face outwards and are also raised. There is a rectangular attachment loop extending across the reverse. The metal is worn and dark green in colour. The strap fitting is 38.1 mm long, 16.5 mm wide, and 14.8 mm thick. It weighs 15.1 g. A cast lead spindle whorl of possible Early Medieval date, about AD 700 - 1100. The whorl is of Walton Rogers Form A2, having two flat faces of unequal size and angled sides. The large central aperture is about 10mm diameter, suggesting a date range in the later Early Medieval period. The whorl is small, plain and atinated to white. It is 16.9mm in diameter and 11.1mm thick. It weighs 12.49gm. This object could also be interpreted as a knife component or fixing.

An unidentitied late Early Medieval or medieval coin. The coin is uniface and depicts a crowned facing king. The king has a triangular face set on an oval neck line. Both sides of the face are made of three pellets, leading to a beard made of solid line. A curved line of har - again made of pellets - extends to either side. The crown has two solid lines across the forehead, and two diagonal lines above that cross at the top. The insription reads: +VIS(sideways S)[ ]E+HEIOCIIT. The reverse is blank.

An incomplete Roman, copper-alloy lozenge-shaped seal box, consisting of the almost complete base. On the base are four small circular holes, positioned one in each angle. A double lug extends from one end with a small copper-alloy hinge pin still extant, through which the lid would have originally hinged. An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy sub-annular buckle frame with central bar, creating two loops. It is missing a pin. The frame is oval in shape and triangular in cross-section, the underside being flat and the outside edge to the front convex. The central bar is rectangular in cross-section, being taller than it is wide. The length is 42mm, the width is 33mm and the weight 6.46g. Whitehead has published similar buckles (Whitehead 2003, 48) for which he suggests the date 1650-1720.
