A fragment of a Medieval to post-Medieval silver-gilt finger-ring (c. 1400-c. 1600). Treasure case no. 2018 T388. The fragment is 'D' shaped in cross-section and has a moulded design on the outer surface. The decoration consists of four parallel bands of raised pellets running down the centre with a slightly raised border at each side. There are two moulded hand motifs but when complete there were probably five motifs which were spaced evenly between the bands. A copper-alloy fragment of a Bronze Age socketed axehead, dating to 1450- 800 BC. It consists of a part of the open end of the socket. The edge of the socket end is bevelled and slightly curved in profile. The front face has a longitudinal ridge, which marks the edge of one of the side of the axehead. Adjacent to the forementioned ridge there is a slightly recessed face which has a transverse ridge below the opening edge. The fragment has old breaks now worn and a dark greenish grey patina. A small body fragment of a cup of Isings (1957) Form 85, probably dating to the period AD 150 to 250. Good quality colourless glass, with layer of pale blue/grey enamel. Some additional lines added on top of the enamel may define clothing. Stout, well made ground and polished flint axe with some flake scars still visible, especially towards the broad butt end, both lateral edges are ground to a ridge. It is of patinated orange, brown and mottled pale off-white, recent damage to both the cutting edge and the butt reveal that the flint was originally mottled mid-grey. Neolithic, 4,000 to 2,351 BC.
