The good condition of the metal, inferred from its mass, and from the condition of the observable surface, may argue a relatively recent date. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1900. Iron and copper alloy possible weight. A possibly cast iron object of a solid flat-based bowl-shaped form with relicts of thin [0.3mm] copper alloy sheathing on its flat base. This appears to have formerly extended further up the sides of the 'bowl', though both its original extent and the overall completeness of the object remain uncertain. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1750-1900. Diameter: 57.3mm, Thickness: 15.5mm, Weight: 182.70gms
