A fragment of a Medieval to post-Medieval silver-gilt finger-ring (c. 1400-c. 1600). Treasure case no. 2018 T388. The fragment is 'D' shaped in cross-section and has a moulded design on the outer surface. The decoration consists of four parallel bands of raised pellets running down the centre with a slightly raised border at each side. There are two moulded hand motifs but when complete there were probably five motifs which were spaced evenly between the bands. An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval annular buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650). The pin is missing. The buckle has a circular frame with a central bar. The upper face of the frame is convex and the rear face is almost flat but slightly convex. At the front there is limited bevelling internally. It has a narrowed bar, roughly circular in cross-section. Both the frame and the bar are corroded and pitted in places. Diameter: 27.4mm; thickness: 2.2mm; maximum width of frame: 2.6mm. An almost complete and unfinished post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell (1600-1800). The sub-rectangular suspension loop at the top is incomplete, bent and broken. It measures about 9.0mm long, 12.0mm wide and 2.9mm thick. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent horizontal circumferential joining rib.
