A heavily corroded copper-alloy Roman as or dupondius of Antonine date, possibly Macus Aurelius (AD 161-180) as Caesar, dating to the period c.AD 139-161 (Reece period 7). Reverse type possibly depicting Mars walking right holding spear and trophy. Mint of Rome. cf. RIC III, p. 184, no. 1322. If this is indeed Marcus as Caesar with the Mars reverse type then it is possibly a Coin of British Association as listed by D. Walker in his report on the Sacred Springs at Bath (Walker, 1988: pp. 295, 299, nos. 382-435, pl. XXXVIII).

Scottish medieval cut halfpenny of William I of Scotland (1165-1214), third coinage (Short Cross and Stars), Phase B, bust III (Spink S5029) dating to c.1205-c.1230. Moneyer: Hue Walter. Mint: Edinburgh, Perth or Roxburgh. Ref: Spink 2015, pg 14. Description: Obverse shows a very crude bust facing left. The hair is made up of multiple pellets and the beard of diagonal strokes. The mouth is depicted by two straight lines. The reverse shows a voided short cross with six-pointed stars in each quadrant. Measurements: Diameter 17.88mm; Weight 0.72g

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1550-c. 1650). One loop is missing. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. The surviving loop has a knop in the form of a stylised scallop shell at the outer edge. The narrowed bar is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. One end is rounded in plan and the opposite end has a rounded knop. There are two spikes at the rear, one is complete and there is a stub of the other. A complete post-Medieval lead alloy circular double-sided token (c. 1500-c. 1850). Powell Type 2/3. The token has a raised initial letter: H on one side and a spoked wheel (sements) on the other side. This token is grey. Diameter: 22.7mm. Weight: 5.00g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely.
