A medieval copper-alloy zoomorphic mount. The object is in the shape of an animal head, forward facing, which is broadly rectangular, measures 0.7mm in length and weighs 2.9g. The top of the item is rounded measuring 0.6mm wide, this narrows to 0.2mm in width at the bottom of the item which is triangular in shape. The face is slightly convex with two subcircular ears which slightly project from each side of the upper edges. Between the ears is a crosshatched pattern indicative of fur or animal hair.
