Clipped silver half groat of Elizabeth I, AD 1558-1603. Sixth issue coinage, AD1582-1600. Obverse shows crowned bust left, two pellets behind. Obverse legend reads EDG/[ROSA] SIN[E]. SPINA. Reverse shows long cross fourchee over royal shield. Reverse legend reads [CIVI/TAS]/[L]ON/DO[N]. Die axis is seven o'clock. Weight is 0.94g. Diameter is 16.3mm. Thickness is 0.6mm.
