A complete gold-plated Late Bronze Age penannular ring with a copper alloy core, dating to the period 1150-750 BC. The gold penannular ring is decorated with thin stripes of a contrasting silvery-coloured metal. A small patch of (copper alloy) corrosion inside the terminal of the ring suggests that this ring is gold-plated rather than solid gold. TREASURE CASE 2018 T374. Description: A complete gold finger ring of medieval date. The finger ring has an oval sectioned band which is undecorated. It tapers in width and thickness from beneath the bezel to the base of the hoop where the band has worn and cracked. The gold bezel has been soldered onto the band. The strip is an oval/ellipse shaped band that tapers towards the possible terminals. Fragment of a Roman trumpet brooch of Mackreth's (2011) Type TR 1.2b1, dating to the period c. AD 75 - 175. The trumpet head has an oval recess with a central D-shaped pierced lug which houses the sprung pin mechanism. Post-medieval cast lead button or decorative stud, circular, plano-convex oval, decorated with a relief pattern of a sexfoil with central pellet between six further pellets and within a bordering line the outer edge engrailed. Casting seam and flattened tapering unpierced lug bent onto reverse. 19.5 x 20.5mm. 3.5mm thick (excluding lug). The lack of a perforation in the tapering lug on the reverse suggests that this otherwise button-like object was some kinf of decorative stud, see another example from the same site (NMS-957C5C). 17th century.

Incomplete medieval lead ampulla dating to the period c. AD 1300 - 1500. The top is missing due to a diagonal break running from just above one lug to approximately 8mm above the lug on the opposite side. One face exhibits a heater-shaped shield with psuedo heraldic design consisting of a series of oblique hatched lines, possibly with a chief above, all surmounted by a crown. Incomplete post medieval strap fitting from a sword belt dating to the period c. AD 1600 -1700. The plate exhibits a flared, double-concave attachment end, now incomplete due to old breaks. It exhibits a vertical median groove running down the front and two rivet holes containing the corroded remains of iron rivets. The plate tapers slightly, and exhibits two opposed crescentic mouldings with a collared hook projecting from between them, terminating in an old break. Copper alloy ring fragment, probably part of an Early Saxon suspension ring for a girdle hanger, dating to the period c. AD 480 - 550. The ring terminates in an old break at either end.
