A Copper-alloy and Iron buckle frame of Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1575 - 1700). The frame is asymmetrical and double looped and curves upwards. A sub-rectangular loop with a lateral terminal bar is decorated with two central incised transverse grooves, flanked either side by two oblique incised grooves. Opposite is the central pin bar which abuts the second loop. Semi-circular in plan, the loop exhibits a distorted and fractured diamond shaped, openwork terminal. Copper-alloy double loop or spectacle buckle, missing only its pin, dating to the post-medieval period (c. 1550 - 1650 AD). The buckle frame consists of two equally-sized D-shaped loops with moulded roundels on the outer edge of each loop and lobed knops at either end of the strap bar. The knops and roundels have a decorative design on their upper surface, consisting of transverse grooves and forming a scallop-shell or floral effect, although the detail of this design is difficult to make out due to the worn nature of the object in its current state. An incomplete lead alloy probable cloth seal of Post Medieval date (c. AD 1600-1700). The object is sub-circular in form, and appears to consist of the main disc that has a rim on the reverse as with a cap. At the centre of the face is a stamped motif in low relief depicting a shield with capital R in Blackletter script. Above the shield is a plain cross. The central motif is set within a circular border. The upper surface has been depressed at its centre with the edge raised up slightly. ~~Post-Medieval copper alloy sword belt hanger. The object is roughly foliate in form, with moulded decoration forming a leaf pattern, a trefoil shaped terminal and hook at the base. There are two circular fixing holes, one at either end of the plate the top hole is encrusted in iron corrosion that is the remains of the rivet.

A gaming token made in the style of a George III gold Spade Guinea. These were produced in reasonable quantity for use in card and other gambling games. The coin bears the incorrect date of 1701 - a commonly found date on gaming tokens as it would be impossible for George III, who reigned 1760-1820. A post-medieval lead cloth/alnage seal. All that survives is one flat circular disc and a portion of the tag. The disc bears the shield of the city of London. The shield is quartered with a sword in the bottom right quarter. Compare with PUBLIC-5064E2 which shows the same shield surrounded with CIVITATIS LONDON.

Complete copper-alloy cup weight of post-medieval date (c. 1500 - 1800 AD). This would have been one of a set of nesting cup weights. The weight is circular and has a raised perimeter. The interior is corroded but a stamped letter A is visible. In the centre of the reverse is a recessed circular dot. The weight has a height of 6mm, a diameter of Diameter: 28mm and a weight of 26.13g There are many examples of this type of weight on the database, including: KENT-83ACC8, LANCUM-5A0F5E, DUR-27CA53 and SWYOR-E217F8.

A copper alloy possible coin weight of post medieval date, possibly for French or Spanish 'Pistole' coins dating to 1640 - 1709). The obverse is stamped with a crown above a pair of initials, R and possibly M. This crown and initials is repeated at least twice more at different angles. Small letters I.P are stamped repeatedly around the edge of the obverse and a few times on the reverse. The disc is folded over at one edge obscuring part of the obverse. The weight of the object at 6.2 g is just below the weight of 1 Louis d'or, a gold coin issued by Louis XIII and Louis XIV of France …

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy trade weight (c. 1850). The weight is circular in plan with a raised rim. The sides flare from the bottom towards the top. The base is flat and has a small circular pit at the centre. The upper face of the weight has verification marks: C S, star. This weight is orange/brown with light green corrosion products. There are no adjustment file marks on the base. Diameter: 18.0mm; thickness: 4.1mm; width of rim: 1.5mm. Weight: 5.82g. (0.2005 ounces). Compare with: HAMP-5EE78D.

A gilded lead horse harness pendant of post medieval date (c. 1700 - c.1800). It is in the form of an eight petalled flower, the lobate petals aranged around a cetral boss. Traces of gilding remain on all petals. The rear surface is flat and undecorated. There is a corroded iron pin 41 mm in length apparantly soldered as a replacement for the original suspension loop. Diameter is 39.5 mm, thickness 5.5 mm. Weight 38.4 g.

The leg and foot are D-shaped in section with a flat back and convex front; the leg is broken off above a transverse collar with an old break and ends in a very worn stub below the collar with no flared out foot. A Post-Medieval copper alloy handle from a cooking vessel such as a posnet or skillet. The handle is a shallow 'D' shape in cross section, with a flat upper surface and a convex, rounded reverse. There are rough breaks on both ends, one ot a c30 degree angle, the other transverse. The upper surface has three parallel but not equidistant (two on one side being closer together), longitudinal grooves but is otherwise undecorated.. Post medieval copper alloy asymmetrical double loop buckle dating to the period c. AD 1575 - 1700. Central narrowed strap bar with projecting oval knops at either end. It has a rectangular loop one one side and a D-shaped loop on the other. Projecting from the outer edge of the D-shaped loop is an ovoid knop engraved with a series of radiating transverse grooves. Traces of a black substance, possibly lacquer are visible. See: Whitehead, R, 2003, p. 92, no. 583.
