Cast Copper alloy, post Medieval mount. (circa AD 1500 - AD 1600.) The object consists of a domed plate with two attachment spikes to the rear. The spikes are turned over indicative of it once being attached to fabric or leather. The front face exhibits a simple fleur-de-lys design; at the top there are three lobes, divided by an incised chevron. Below this a waist-like reduction terminated with a squared off base. A complete asymmetric, cast Copper-alloy Medieval bar mount, dating to the 14th century AD. The mount is formed of a central plump, sub-oval body from which two sub-rectangular terminal lobes extend. The terminal lobes are drilled and countersunk below to accommodate rivets with the remains in-situ and would have attached the mount to a strap. The terminal lobes are of differing lengths. Post-Medieval Copper alloy mount formed of a flat asymmetrical central body with integral attachment spikes in the closed position. Probably designed for attaching to leather. It has a sub-rectangular terminal at each end with a decorative transverse groove. There are sub-circular cut-outs at both ends of each groove on one terminal and one cut out on the other. It exhibits a central sub-rectangular element that is divided on the opposing sides by two semi-circular cut outs, .
