A complete but bent post-Medieval copper-alloy dress-hook (c. 1500-c. 1600). Read Class E, Type 6 (quatrefoil). This openwork dress-hook has been cast in one piece and is moulded at the front. The plain frame is in the form of quatrefoil 'knot' with three visible raised pellets. There is one pellet at the top and two pellets close to the bottom of the frame. The sub-triangular attachment loop at the top is undecorated at the front. At the opposite end the hook is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat at the rear. An incomplete and corroded Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy mount or strap-fitting (c. 1450-c. 1550). The attachment loop is missing. This object is sub-triangular (heart-shaped) in plan. It is slightly convex at the front and slightly concave at the rear. Each lobe has a drilled circular hole to accommodate a separate attachment loop which is missing. A medieval, cast copper-alloy strap end. Description: The strap end is constructed from two cast copper-alloy plates, soldered together at the closed end. Both pieces have snapped off just above where the plates thin to allow the strap to fit between them, and the open end, probably with a seperate spacer, is missing. The main part of the strap end is sub-rectangular in plan, but at the closed end it has a narrowed neck and then a decorative collared terminal which is shaped like a fleur-de-lis or trefoil. A complete post Medieval cast Copper alloy buckle, dating to c. 1500-1650 AD. The buckle consists of a bevel-edged double loop, 'D' section oval buckle frame with moulded knops at either end of the slightly recessed strap bar. There is an in-situ simple sheet metal buckle pin, bent around the central strap bar. The buckle is light green, abraded and in good condition. One loop from a post Medieval cast Copper alloy buckle frame. The buckle frame fragment consists of a 'D' section bevel-edged loop with moulded knops at either end of the slightly recessed strap bar.
