A medieval, cast copper-alloy belt or strap mount.
Description: The mount is a pointed oval in plan with a convex upper surface and a concave reverse. There is an integral rivet in the centre of the reverse. The rivet is square in cross-section and tapers to a point. The rivet is broken near to its point.

An incomplete and corroded Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy mount or strap-fitting (c. 1450-c. 1550).
The attachment loop is missing.
This object is sub-triangular (heart-shaped) in plan. It is slightly convex at the front and slightly concave at the rear. Each lobe has a drilled circular hole to accommodate a separate attachment loop which is missing.
The object is green and corroded and is partially covered with soil.
Length: 12.4mm; width: 15.3mm; thickness: 2.6mm. Weight: 1.47g. (the weight includes soil).
