An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount (c. 1000-c. 1100).
The plate of this mount is roughly lozenge shaped in plan. It has an oblique rectangular flange at the base which is angled back at about 45° from the plane of the plate. The flange is pierced with a hole that contains the corroded remains of an iron rivet. The top of the mount narrows to form a lobe and is pierced to form a loop. Reverse: NIC/OLE/[ ]/[ ]; Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant.

Reverse: [ ]; Short voided cross united at base by two circles, in centre a pellet. In each angle a broken annulet enclosing a pellet.
