A plunging flake of probable Neolithic date, c. 4,000 - 2200 BC. The tertiary flake has been hard-hammer struck from a mottled grey-brown flint core. Ancient flakes scars are evident on one edge but there is also modern damage, possibly modern knapping, to the opposing edge.
