An incomplete copper alloy crossbow brooch of Roman date, circa AD 300 - 400. The lower part of the bow and the pin are missing, although the remains of the spring are visible in the head of the brooch. The surviving part of the brooch is T-shaped in plan, with large onion shaped knops situated at the top of the T and the end of each arm, three in total. In profile the object is lunular, with the bar which extends downwards from the cross bar at the top looping up into a cresent shape. The brooch has very little decoration. An incomplete copper alloy medieval finger ring, dating from c. AD 1230-1260. The hoop of the ring is circular, with the hoop widening to a sub-triangular shape in cross section for the bezel. There is a central circular setting in the bezel which contains white adhesive inside, probably for holding a stone or glass in place. On the shoulders of the bezel on either side are incised V shapes running down the hoop, becoming smaller before stopping half way round the hoop. It has four broadly triangular teeth and a hole 7 mm diameter drilled through the plate for attachment. The plate is bent, probably post-deposition, and has a green patina. A fragment of an enamelled copper alloy zoomorphic plate brooch of Roman date, circa AD 100 - 200. The brooch is probably in the form of a horse, although is missing its rider, legs, and muzzle. The fragment comprises a portion of the plate, which is flat and recognisably shaped like the head and front portion of a horse.
