A complete Medieval silver halfpenny of Richard II (1377-1399), minted at London (North 1991: 63, ref: 1331b; Withers 2002: 46, Type 1k).
Obverse: + (cross pattée) RECARD·REX:ANG: (Roman N); Crowned bust facing with a bifoliate crown, nothing on breast.
Reverse: CIVI/TAS/LOn/DOn; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant.
Diameter: 14.5mm. Weight: 0.69g. DA=12:12.
