An incomplete gilded copper alloy Roman 'composite gilded spoked disc' brooch, also known as a 'wheel' type and dating to c. AD 100-300. Part of the edge is missing (as is most of the gilding) the pin and its fixing mechanism to the reverse are also lost (with no trace as to what the fixing mechanism might have been). An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy T-shaped (developed) brooch with hinge mechanism, missing the pin and inlaid enamel decoration. One wing is bent and thinner than the other. The tubular wingspan is 22.0mm. The bent wing is a little damaged at the end (with traces of a white-coloured substance inside), the other end is flanked by a pair of transverse ribs to the front. A copper alloy possible horse harness ring of Late Bronze Age to Roman date (c. 1000 BC - AD 410). The ring weighs 15.51g, measures 25.7mm in diameter (21.1mm internal diameter) and is 7.9mm thick. It is circular in shape with a 2.2mm wide rib running around the circumference. The interior surface features a circumferential ridge, to give a lozenge-shaped cross-section. Both edges are flanked by a 1.3mm wide rib. The object has a very smooth, shiny dark brown patina. A Late Bronze Age to Roman (1150 BC - AD 410) copper alloy miniature socketed axehead of Robinson's Type I (Robinson, Wiltshire Archaeology Magazine 1995, p.60) with concave sides.The axehead is thinnest at the blade end (1.1mm thick) expanding over the length to 4.5mm thick below the mouth moulding, which is 5.4mm thick. An apparently complete copper alloy unidentified object of uncertain date. It comprises a sub-oval, solid top measuring 14.6x13.7mm, c.2mm in thickness. From the centre of this extends a D-shaped loop (6.1x3.4x2.7mm) with a circular perforation at the centre, 1.6mm in diameter. A complete late medieval (1400-1500) copper-alloy seal matrix of conical form. The handle is hexagonal in cross-section with a D-shaped suspension loop (7.0mm wide) extending from the narrower end (7.1x5.3mm). The suspension loop has a central circular perforation 3.5mm in diameter. The matrix at the wider end is oval in shape (13.0x12.4mm) and engraved with a Lombardic letter T. Encircling this are eleven grooved V-shapes and within the tail of the letter and following the line of it to the crossed-top is a curving line of six pellets.
