Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, Thickness: 8 mm, diameter: 26 mm, weight: 25.85 g. The whorl is circular in form and biconical in cross section. It has a pronounced ridge on its outer edge and a central hole 8mm in diamter. It is decorated on both faces, one has a row of semi-spherical dots and the otehr a series of almost diagonally placed raised lines. The objects form matches Walter Rogers Type C, which she dates to the Medieval period.

Incomplete Medieval copper alloy hinged mirror case dating to the period c. AD 1300 - 1500. Normally these artefacts consist of two matching circular hinged discs that close together in order to protect the mirror, however, only one of the disc remains. This has an inwards facing rim that project down at a right angle fromm the top of the disc. Projecting from one side is the stub of the clasp. A Post medieval copper-alloy button, dating to AD 1500 - 1800. Thickness: 10 mm, diameter: 20 mm, weight: 4.48 g. The button his formed of a domed circular shaped plate which is decorated with an incised circle surrounding a central ciecular depression. It has a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned shafter emerging from the centre of its base. This has a circular hole taking up most of it.

A complete, copper alloy, annular buckle, Medieval, 13th-16th century, AD.1200-1550. Buckle comprises an annular frame with a copper alloy pin looped around it. The frame is circular in cross section. There is no pin bar recess or pin rest and the fram is free moving. The pin is circular in cross section with a small sub-rectangular knop just before the attachment loop. The loop is formed by being rolled round the frame. A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic clasp, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The clasp consists of a rectangular frame with an elaborate outer edge, consisting of a moulded zoomorphic animal head, viewed from above. The animal has a pronounced trapezoidal nose and projecting ears, with openwork apertures depictign the eyes, further details including hair and the eyebrows, which converge creating a triangualr field, are added with incised lines. This sits above an oval cross sectioned rectangular shaped shaft which has an integral bit. This is rectangular in form and cross section and has a small rectangular depression in the centre of the top and bottom. The end of the shaft has a pointed projection c.5mm long.

Incomplete medieval to post medieval foot from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron, posnet or skillet dating to the period c. AD 1300 - 1700. The leg has a worn break at the top. It is trapezoidal in cross-section with a slightly concave reverse and expands into the moulded foot. The front is divided by a prominent central mid-rib,flanked by a shallower rib on either side. It exhibits traces of sooting. The vessels to which these were attached were usually of a tripod form and were widely used from circa AD 1200-1700 for serving and cooking. Roman copper alloy thistle brooch, Length: 41 mm, width: 25 mm, thickness: 6 mm, weight: 8.66 g The brooch was found in two fragments which join. It has a circular cross sectioned, rectangular shaped hollow headplate which sits above a flat backplate. This has a circular upper half and a trapezoidal shpaed lower half. The reverse of this section houses the catchplate which is sub rectangular in form. The top part has traces of possible tinning/silvering on its surface, but the object appears to be misssing a front plate as there are no traces of decoration?
