A Medieval copper alloy pedastal-type seal matrix, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The seal has an oval base, although its edges are highly abraded, from the reverse of which expands the faceted hexagonal-sectioned pedastal handle. The handle terminates in a trefoilate knop, with a drilled circuar perforation to form a loop, and with this preceded by a rounded collar. Incomplete Roman copper alloy headstud brooch of Mackreth's (2011) Type HDST 6 dating to the period c. AD 50 - 125. The head exhibits C-shaped wings with a transverse seam and central recess for the pin. Within are the corroded remains of the iron axis bar for the hinged pin mechanism. At the top of the head is a broken, integrally cast loop. The wings are stepped, each with three longitudinal ridges. The bow arches back from the head, with a small crest just above the headstud. An incomplete early Post-Medieval Class E, Type 3 circular single sharp-hooked dress hook.
This incomplete artefact weighs 2.56g and consists of a circular body and rectangular attachment loop. The hook is missing. The circular body has a diameter of 14.8mm width and 1.7mm thickness. The front of the body is decorated with a six petalled rose, pellet at centre, within a circle of six figure-of-eight petals and linear external border. The area surrounding the twelve petals and pellet is recessed and now partially filled with dried mud.

An incomplete copper-alloy pin of possible Roman date, c.AD 43 - 410. The pin comprises a conical head with a smaller integral inverted cone projecting from the top. The remains of a circular sectioned shaft project centrally from the base of the head and terminates in a worn break.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is extremely worn. The pin is 11.5mm long, the head is 4.3mm in diameter at the top, 7mm in diameter at the widest point and the shaft is 1.7mm in diameter. The pin weighs 1.3g.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman disc brooch dating to the second century AD. All is complete with the exception of the now missing pin and loss of all but a slight trace of the decorative enamel. The remains of this brooch weighs 3.06g. It has a diameter of 22.4mm on what would have been the pin axis and diameter of 21.2mm at 90 degrees to this. The disc, which is still mostly flat with just a slight hint of a twist to the metal at one side, has a thickness of 1.1mm.
