An incomplete, cast, copper alloy decorative fitting of uncertain age, from the Roman to Post Medieval period (AD 100-1700). The object is in the form of the head and part of the body of a fish. The head has on it a lined mouth and an eye. The surface of the head is plain and comes to a point at the mouth.The body of the fish is made up of scales spaced in a line from top to bottom. An incomplete, cast copper alloy cooking vessel leg from the Medieval period (AD1150-1450). The leg is sub-rectangular in shape, slightly flaring out around the base. It has two sides with a part of one upper side missing; if looked at from the top, the leg is L shaped. The base roughly resembles the foot of an animal. The whole object has been broken off, with an old break, from what would have been a much longer leg.The outer face has a prominent vertical ridge.The patina of all surfaces is a dull mottled grey colour and there is corrosion and wear on all surfaces. An incomplete, copper alloy buckle of the Medieval period (AD1150-1450). The buckle is D shaped with the rounded edge slightly thicker than the strap bar. There is a small recess in the round edge for the pin rest and the strap bar still has the remains of the pin attached.The edges of the upper part of the frame are rounded,the lower being flat.There is no sign of any decoration on any surface. An incomplete, cast copper alloy horse harness mount of the Medieval to Post Medieval period (AD1400-1700). The head of the mount is circular and flat on the reverse face.The upper face is moulded with a flower design of a central six petalled flower, surrounded by six smaller flower heads with a leaf in between. A complete, copper alloy clock key of the later Post Medieval to Modern periods (AD1750 -1900). The key has a flat, oval winding bow with two drilled apertures with countersunk holes. There is a solid, round section stem, which tapers slightly, the thinner end being nearest the bow. A square hollow section above also tapers slightly to the larger end. There is no decoration on any surface. Length 58.57mm, width 33.22mm, thickness 3.34mm, weight 20.1g.
