Two incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy annular shoe buckles dating to c1720-1790s. The frames are annular in form with triangular openwork slots within a beaded border, a moulded rosette over each spindle hole and an oval bead at each end. The buckle frames are drilled for a separate spindle, the spindle and pin are missing. Rust on the back of the frames would suggest that the spindles were made of steel.
