An incomplete copper alloy medieval annular brooch or buckle missing the pin, dating to c. AD 1350-1400. The frame is circular and flat, and rectangular in cross section. There is no decoration. The frame is recessed in one place forming a pin bar where the pin would have attached, which possibly suggests that it is a brooch rather than a buckle (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 64-5). The pin bar is circular in cross section. It has a red brown patina, and measures 28.4mm in diameter, 2.3mm in thickness, and weighs 5.66g.
