An Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) damaged and almost complete gold mount or cover for a boss (c. 600-c. 700). Treasure case no. 2018 T335. The object is dented at the top and is made from sheet gold and gold wire. It is circular in plan, domed at the front and hollow on the underside. There is a sub-circular hole through its top, possibly the means by which it was originally attached to another object, as it seems too small to accommodate a setting. A Late Bronze Age copper alloy tanged chisel, probably dating to c. 1150-800 BC. The chisel survives complete, although the tang has been damaged, and is now bent at 45 degrees to the plane. The tang is rectangular in cross section, tapering to a point in profile and with a sub-rectangular end in plan, with the remains of casting seems running down either lateral face, particularly prominent at the interstice with the collar. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman Developed T-shaped brooch of Hull T105/6 of the Lower Severn T-shape type of later 1st or 2nd century AD date (AD 50-150). Description: The brooch is incomplete and the lower bow is missing.The wings are cylindrical with perforated wing / end caps. Description: Post-medieval coin: silver shilling of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) dating to AD 1559-1603. Mint of London. The coin has been heavily clipped. 2.55g Post Medieval coin: silver shilling of Charles I (1625 - 1649). (North 2216 - 2234). Initial mark unknown. Probably mint of London (Tower). 3.38g. Discussion: The coins are likely to represent a small purse loss as the wear pattern and being found in the same findspot suggest they were in circulation at the same time.

A 'fob' seal matrix consisting of a thin (2mm) carved brown and clear oval gemstone in a gold frame, attached to an enamelled gold swivel mount. The gemstone depicts a winged cherub in profile, facing to the viewer's right, with drapery trailing from his shoulders. In his outstretched right hand he holds a thin, twisted item, possibly a rope or the mouthpiece to a musical instrument.
