A complete Medieval copper-alloy circular seal matrix (c. 1200-c. 1300). At the centre of the face the device is an eight petalled flower head. Between an inner and outer beaded border an inscription reads: CREDE MIChI ("believe in me"). The initial mark at 12 0' clock is a six-pointed star. The rear face has a suspension loop at 12 o' clock. This seal matrix is largely dark green with some corrosion. Diameter: 18.5mm; thickness: 3.6mm; thickness including the suspension loop: 7.5mm. Weight: 4.73g.

A fragment of a medieval, coarse ware, ceramic bung hole pitcher, jug or cistern (c. 1350-c. 1450). Description: The fragment consists of a complete bunghole, the area around the hole thickened and proud of the surface, with a small fragment of body sherd still attached. There are distinct finger or thumb marks around the hole where the clay has been worked. The outside is an oxidised orange colour with a reduced grey core. A recess is present on the lip which would act as the pin rest. The pin no longer remains and the frame is undecorated. The metal has a dark green patina and is in good condition. The buckle is 28.7mm long, 26.4mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 7.2g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.27, no.143 and is dated to circa AD 1350 - 1450.

A complete copper-alloy asymmetrical buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1350 - 1450. The buckle has a D-section with one sub-ovate and one smaller rectangular loop. A notch for the pin is present on the outer loop of the frame and the pin is retained, looped around a narrowed portion of the bar. The frame is undecorated. The metal has a dark brown patina and is in fair condition. The buckle is 37.9mm long, 29.7mm wide, 4.2mm thick and weighs 11.4g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.87, no.538 and is dated to circa AD 1350 - 1450.

A fragment of a copper-alloy double-looped buckle dating from Medieval to Post Medieval. (1350-1650). The fragment is "D" shaped and is an irregular "D" shape in section varying in thickness along it's length. The pin bar is triangular in section and is missing the pin. There are two lobes extending from either end of the pin bar which would have continued to form the other half of the buckle. The buckle is 20.9mm long, 35mm wide, 3.4mm thick and weighs 4.6 grams. The buckle has a green patina with an iron stain on the pin bar.

A copper-alloy open-top thimble, or 'sewing ring', of Medieval to post-Medieval date. The object comprises a broad ring with four bands of hand-drilled holes around the outside. In several places, the holes have merged with neighbouring holes and in one case this has pierced the ring. Ring type thimbles are found in British contexts from around 1450 (Holmes 1988:1). This thimble is similar to one found in Holmes 1988 fig. 4 which is dated to c.1450 - 1550. See also SOM-DE21CE
