A miniature Iron Age to Roman copper alloy axe head, dating around 1000BC- AD410. The object has a large rectangular end (socket) which narrows down the blade towards the cutting end. The blade is broken at the socketed end and shows no signs of decoration. It is similar in basic form to SUSS-63EAE7.

A complete copper alloy miniature votive socketed axe, probably Roman, dating AD 43-410. The axe head is similar to YORYM-7505A8. There are two borders below the socket separating it from the rest of the axe. Beyond this the axe loses its rectangular shape and narrows down into a more triangular shape, with a slightly flared and rounded cutting end. Just below the socket there is a projecting loop.
